One of my brand new elixirs. The idea came to me walking under the balsam poplar trees in early Spring - thinking about infusing their potent buds into honey... and thinking about how the bees would be gathering the same resin for similar healing purposes. So along came this fiery blend, which includes: 

Propolis - a unique medicine gifted from bees. It is the substance they use to defend their hives from pathogens or invaders. It is incredibly medicinal for humans - immune-modulating, antioxidant rich, and antimicrobial. 

Spilanthes - which is a lesser known herb but one we should all become familiar with. Spilanthes is a powerful immune stimulant, it is also anti-microbial and distinctly analgesic, it stimulates blood flow to mobilize the immune system.

Licorice root - a beautifully complex anti-viral herb that also modulates the immune response.

This elixir tastes unreal - it is highly aromatic, distinctly warming, and resinous.  It would be great to have on hand for when you feel that first tickle in your throat or you're feeling run down.
